Albertsons' Teamster Pharmacists Authorize Strike
CHICAGO - Teamster-represented pharmacists at Albertsons Corp.'s Osco Drug stores have voted to authorize a strike if a contract can't be reached.
Teamsters Local 714 represents 630 pharmacists at 185 Osco stores in Cook, Lake, Dupage and McHenry counties in Illinois.
In a press release Thursday, the union said pharmacists voted to reject the company's contract offer on June 1. The parties have been negotiating since April.
