ALDI Deploys New Transportation Management Solution
ALDI Inc. plans to use a new transportation management solution (TMS) to coordinate shipments across its network of North American distribution centers that serves its approximately 1,000 stores.
The retailer will deploy a system from RedPrairie’s developed to streamline all aspects of the transportation life-cycle and provide a collaborative planning and scheduling environment to more easily control the complexities of global distribution.
ALDI operates nearly 1,000 stores in 29 states primarily from Kansas to the East Coast.
