Andronico’s Partners with Local Chefs For Web Series
San Leandro, Calif.-based Andronico’s Community Markets has teamed up with professional chefs, Bay Area food celebrities and passionate home cooks for a new “Chef’s Corner” online feature series showcasing seasonal recipes from each.
One of the first chefs to sign on with Andronico’s for the project was Janet Fletcher, a noted author and San Francisco Chronicle cheese columnist and respected food professional. Other chefs already signed on to be featured include Jordan Schachter of Jordan’s Kitchen, a well-respected cooking school in San Francisco’s Mission District that caters to a trendy young crowd of culinary students. Also featured will be Anna Brincat, owner and chef at Simmer and Sear cooking school. Brincat grew up in the East Bay in an Italian-American family that owned local Italian delis and she has followed those roots with her popular private cooking classes.
As a premier specialty market and trailblazer in the Bay Area's “eat local” movement, Andronico’s Chef's Corner not only features professional chefs but also passionate home cooks who shop its stores for ingredients.
Andronico’s Community Markets is privately owned and has five locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
