Atlanta-area BJ's Gas Stations Hold 99-cent Gas Promo
NATICK, Mass. -- Select BJ's Club gas stations in the Atlanta area hosted a special event yesterday, at which motorists could fill up their automobiles with regular-unleaded gas for just 99 cents per gallon. BJ's Wholesale Club, based here, teamed up with Clorox for the Discount Gas Day promotion, which was held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
According to AAA, the average cost to fuel a vehicle with a 15-gallon tank in the Atlanta area is $35, a more than 31 percent increase from this time last year, BJ's said in a statement. The company's gas promotion was available to both BJ's Club members and non-members.
BJ's didn't say whether the promotion is being offered in other BJ's Gas locations. The company offers on-site gas stations at stores in 16 states.
