Bi-Lo Vet Named SPINS S.V.P. of Retailer Client Services
SCHAUMBURG, IL -- SPINS, Inc. here, the leading provider of industry information, reporting and consulting services for the natural and organic products industry, has appointed former Bi-Lo exec Kathryn Peters to its leadership team as s.v.p. of retail client services.
In this newly created position, Peters will oversee all aspects of SPINS' retailer, broker and distributor partnerships. Across all retail channels, she will guide the company's ongoing focus and investment in the development of SPINS' retailer partnerships.
A veteran of the food retail and consumer packaged goods industries with over 15 years of experience under her belt, Peters most recently served as the v.p. of grocery and corporate brands at Mauldin, S.C.-based Bi-Lo, LLC. In that capacity she participated in a Progressive Grocer health-and-wellness roundtable led by PG Senior Editor Jenny McTaggart in September.
During Peters' 10 years at Bi-Lo, she held various other positions, among them director of grocery, director of category management, and category development manager. Before joining the retailer, Peters worked for the category management and sales organization of Ralston Purina.
