Brookshire’s Launches Pharmacy App

Brookshire Grocery Co. has unveiled a mobile pharmacy app to be used at all three of the regional grocery chain’s banners.

The app allows customers to request refills, access prescription history, locate store addresses and find directions, as well as learn about health and drug information. The pharmacy app is also compatible with the Brookshire’s grocery app.

“We want to make refilling prescriptions and accessing health information convenient and simple for our customers,” said Brookshire’s President and CEO Rick Rayford. “The pharmacy mobile app is a great resource to be used in addition to our helpful pharmacy staff, who are always available if customers have additional questions.”

The app, which is available for iPhone and Android devices, can be downloaded from the App store or Google Play.

Tyler, Texas-based Brookshire Grocery Co. operates 152 stores in three states -- Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas -- with three distribution centers and seven manufacturing facilities.
