Byerly's Hosts Celeb Irish Cookbook Author for Store Event
Noted Irish cookbook author Margaret Johnson will make an exclusive appearance March 7-8 at Byerly's St. Louis Park store.
Johnson, a noted cookbook author and journalist who's written hundreds of food and travel pieces for newspapers and magazines in the United States and Ireland, will team with the Edina, Minn.-based retailer's culinary experts, Rachel Gaffney and Joan Donatelle, to teach an "Irish Feast" cooking class from 6 to 7 p.m. this evening.
During the $10 per person class, the trio will prepare Endive & Irish Blue Cheese Canapes, Lamb cutlets with Honey, Apricot and Tarron Sauce, Turnips Anna Livia and Rachel Gaffney's Irish Shortbread Banoffi Pie.
Byerly's parent, Lund Food Holdings, owns and operates 10 Lunds and 11 Byerly's supermarkets in the Twin Cities and surrounding area.
