Campbell Names Olscamp V.P. Business Development and Industry Relations

Smith and Olscamp will work together to ensure a seamless transition of key customer, industry, and other business relationships, Campbell notes.
In his new role Olscamp will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with the senior executives at the company's customers. He will be a key Campbell representative to major food-retailing and manufacturing trade associations, among them the Food Marketing Institute, the Grocery Manufacturers Association, and the National Grocers Association, helping to advance industry issues. Additionally, Olscamp will handle benchmarking customer engagement within the industry.
The position will have a worldwide scope, with a focus on North America, the company said.

Olscamp has held field sales and Campbell world headquarters positions of increasing responsibility since joining Campbell in 1979. His most recent position was v.p.-retail & broker sales operations, in which capacity he led retail operations for the Campbell Sales Co., the selling organization for the company's largest business unit. He also headed the headquarters businesses managed by Acosta Sales & Marketing Co.
