CGA SVP Rulon Leaves Association
California Grocers Association SVP Jill Rulon, has left the organization to pursue other opportunities.
Rulon worked for Sacramento-based CGA for 13 years, and was responsible for its annual strategic conference, membership, communications, sales and marketing. In addition, she managed the association’s emergency management and organized retail crime prevention programs.
Prior to joining CGA, Rulon was director of state and environmental affairs for the Arlington, Va.-based Food Marketing Institute.
CGA is a nonprofit trade association representing about 500 retail members operating over 6,000 food stores in California and Nevada, and approximately 200 grocery supplier companies. Retail membership includes chain and independent supermarkets, convenience stores, and mass merchandisers.
