Chicken of the Sea Contest Salutes 60-Somethings
In honor of the Mermaid’s 60th birthday, Chicken of the Sea’s 60s & Sensational contest encourages Facebook fans to nominate someone they know in their 60s who leads a healthy and inspiring lifestyle. Four winners will choose one of three dream birthday packages.
To enter the interactive contest, Facebook fans can submit a brief essay and photo of themselves or someone they know between the ages of 60 and 69 that details why the nominee is sensational – someone who eats healthy, stays active and leads a personally fulfilling lifestyle.
Four grand-prize winners will choose from one of the following birthday packages:
- A sensational $1,000 shopping spree
- Dinner with three friends including a limo for transportation
- A spa package for two, including hotel accommodations and dinner
"The Mermaid has always been synonymous with health, nutrition and convenience," said John Sawyer, SVP of sales and marketing at San Diego-based Chicken of the Sea. "The 60s & Sensational Contest allows us to celebrate the iconic Mermaid and recognize others who share her knack for healthy eating and living."
Visit Chicken of the Sea on Facebook to enter. The deadline for submission is Aug. 12 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Submissions are limited to 400 words, and winners are chosen by popular public vote.
Facebook fans who nominate a sensational 60-something will also be entered in a daily contest giveaway for a chance to win a Chicken of the Sea prize pack.
