Clinton to Deliver Keynote at Joint Session
Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will serve as the keynote speaker at a new Joint General Session hosted by the United Fresh Produce Association (United Fresh) and the Food Marketing Institute (FMI). The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 10, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Arie Crown Theater at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Participation in the keynote session is limited to attendees who hold either FMI’s or United Fresh’s educational package. The program is expected to draw several thousand attendees from across the worldwide food industry.
Making History
Clinton was the 67th U.S. Secretary of State from 2009 until 2013, following almost four decades in public service. Earlier, she was First Lady to her husband, two-term President Bill Clinton, and a U.S. Senator from New York. In her groundbreaking campaign for president in 2008, Clinton won 18 million votes.
The Joint General Session is sponsored by Wonderful Brands, which markets pomegranates, pistachios and almonds.
Registration for the co-located FMI Connect and United Fresh show in June is available online.
