ConAgra Plans Three New Distribution Centers
HOUSTON - ConAgra Foods Inc. is in the final planning stages to construct three new distribution warehouses in Florida, Tennessee and Texas, according to Industrialinfo.com, a news provider to the industrial marketplace.
In September it was reported that construction had begun on a new distribution facility in Lebanon, Ind. Since then, plans have been confirmed for the construction of three additional distribution facilities taking the total to four.
The new distribution facilities will be for storage of dry goods and are in the range of 450,000 to 500,000 square feet. All projects are expected to be under construction during the 4th quarter of 2001 and completion is scheduled by the fall of 2002.
The properties have been identified in Saint Augustine, Fla., Knoxville, Tenn., and Fort Worth, Texas.
