D'Agostino Chooses RBS Lynk Payment-processing System
LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- D'Agostino Supermarkets, Inc. here has selected Atlanta-based RBS Lynk, the U.S. payment-processing arm of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, to provide payment-processing services for the famed New York-area grocer.
RBS Lynk will process credit, debit, and other payment card transactions, among them electronic benefits transfer payments for the supermarket chain, which accepts over 5 million card-based purchases annually.

RBS Lynk has developed a broad variety of hardware and software options to meet the needs of food retailers of all sizes, teaming with point-of-sales equipment vendors to create integrated payment solutions for grocers.
Along with payment-processing services, the RBS Lynk offers gift and rewards programs to help increase profitability, and integrated technologies that permit a seamless transition to its platforms.
D'Agostino operates 20 stores in the Manhattan and Brooklyn boroughs of New York City, as well as upstate Westchester County.
