Daymon Worldwide’s Gosselin to be Keynote Speaker at Frozen Event
The Texas-Mexico Frozen Food Council, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of the frozen food industry in the United States, Mexico and Canada, said yesterday that the keynote speaker for its 2009 Frozen Food Fiesta would be Bobbi Gosselin, EVP of Stamford, Conn.-based Daymon Worldwide. The event is scheduled for May 7 through May 9 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Twice named one of Progressive Grocer Top Women in Grocery, Gosselin has helped establish new supplier relationships and enhanced existing ones throughout her career, as well as focusing company employees on emerging consumer and category trends. The 16-year Daymon veteran was recently promoted to her present position. Gosselin’s previous positions at the company have included SVP in charge of the business development team, marketing, design, product innovation and quality assurance.
“Bobbi Gosselin is a proven leader in the area of private label management,” said Texas-Mexico Frozen Food Council executive director Elise Cortina. “She brings a tremendous level of expertise in all aspects of private label business development, including industry intelligence, product sourcing and facilitating relationships between suppliers and retailers. Fiesta attendees will take away invaluable information about how best to engage the retail community.”
