DiSilvestro to Succeed Owens as Campbell CFO

Anthony P. DiSilvestro, Campbell Soup Co.’s current senior vice president – finance, has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective May 1. DiSilvestro will succeed B. Craig Owens, who has served as chief financial officer and chief administrative officer since 2008, who will retire.

DiSilvestro (left) has held a range of senior roles in Campbell’s finance organization and principal business divisions since joining the Camden, N.J.-based company in 1996, including treasurer; controller; VP – finance for Campbell North America; VP – corporate development and strategic planning; and VP and managing director of Campbell International.

In his current position as SVP – finance, DiSilvestro oversees the controller’s function and financial planning and analysis, and serves as the senior financial officer for Campbell North America.

Denise Morrison, Campbell’s president/CEO, said that Owens (right) has “provided strong strategic leadership of our company’s Finance, Supply Chain and Information Technology organizations,” adding that “[he] has been an invaluable partner to me in the development of a new strategic framework for Campbell and the reshaping of our portfolio.”
