Food Basics Hosts Hispanic Cultural Festival in N.J.
A&P's Food Basics format is playing host once again to one of North Bergen, New Jersey's most popular Hispanic cultural events: the annual Food Basics Family Festival.
The 2008 Festival, starring chef, author, and TV personality Jose Hernandez, known as "Chef Pepin," will feature music from a popular local radio station, WSKQ 97.9 FM "La Mega," as well as a variety of activities for the whole family. Other special promotions include America's Choice giveaways, as well as a traditional pig roast. All festivities will take place in the Food Basics store parking lot in North Bergen, N.J. on May 24.
Food Basics will host more than 25 vendors, including such famous brands as Goya, LaCena, Cibao Meats, and Cafe Bustelo. For children's entertainment, a variety of inflatable bounce rides will be on site, while Clorox will sponsor the appearance of NASCAR's #47 Clorox Ford racecar. Pantene is providing a complimentary photo booth enabling families and friends to snap a free picture.
