Food Lion Offering Free Holiday Dinner Coupon

Food Lion MVP customers can now earn a free $20 coupon toward their holiday dinners as part of the Salisbury, N.C.-based grocery chain’s seasonal “Shop, Collect and Earn” promotion, which runs through Nov. 26.

To earn the $20 coupon, customers must spend $40 or more in one shopping visit with a MVP Card for six of eight weeks, collect six different weekly tickets, and redeem the tickets for the coupon by Dec. 10. Alcohol, tobacco, gift card, lottery, and postage stamp purchases don’t count toward the $40 purchase requirement. MVP customers in the Greensboro, N.C., area will receive electronic dinner points instead of a ticket, which also can be redeemed by Dec. 10.

The MVP Card enables shoppers to take advantage of lower prices throughout the store. Customers without MVP cards can sign up for free ones at checkout.
