The Fresh Market Gets 'Smart' with BTS Program
Specialty grocer The Fresh Market is offering a collection of what it considers healthy, tasty, portable foods for college students, on-the go families, or anyone who wants a quick brain boost, in its “The Fresh Market gets Smart for Back to School” promotion.
The online program features about a dozen items, including Crispy Green’s Apples, Amy’s Organic Cream of Tomato Soup, and Seapoint Farms Dry Roasted Edamame. The full Smart Foods collection is also available for $36.99, and includes a reusable shopping tote—presumably a suggested starter kit for a college student heading off to school.
Subscribers to the specialty grocer’s “Fresh Ideas” newsletter received a promotional e-mail with links to The Fresh Market’s Online Market. The offer includes a promo code offering free shipping with a purchase of $50 or more.
The Fresh Market, headquartered in Greensboro, N.C., currently operates over 80 stores in the Southeast, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic.
