Goya Bestows Highest Honor on Sales Broker
Goya Foods, America’s largest Hispanic-owned food company, presented Angelo G. Gonzalez with the Don Prudencio Unanue Award, the highest honor that a Goya sales broker can receive, at the recent annual Goya Sales Party. The award is given annually to the Goya sales broker who embodies the qualities that were most important to the company’s founder.
Gonzalez has been a sales broker in Division One at Secaucus, N.J.-based Goya for more 26 years, during which time he has displayed leadership, knowledge, professionalism, and communication skills.
Among those in attendance at the presentation were Goya EVP Peter Unanue, Goya president Bob Unanue and Gonzalez’s wife, Reina Avalo.
Goya manufactures, packages and distributes over 1,600 food products from the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America.
