Goya Rolling Out Organic Beans
SECAUCUS, N.J. - Mating the health & wellness trend with its already commanding presence as an ethnic brand, Goya Foods, Inc. has begun distributing a new line of organically grown beans.
The vendor said it is offering its Premium beans in an alternative 100 percent USDA certified organic version. The organic line includes red kidney beans, black beans, pinto, chick peas, and navy beans.
"With our new line of organic beans, we bring our consumers another option for the natural tastes and goodness that are found throughout Latin America," said Joseph Perez, s.v.p., in a statement.
Goya Foods has developed other alternatives for health-conscious consumers in recent years, such as low-sodium beans and low-sodium seasonings.
