Guinness Debuts 3rd 'Made of More TV' Spot
Guinness debuted on Sunday the third installment of its "Made of More TV" campaign during halftime of the World Cup finals.
Dubbed "Empty Chair," the ad aims to showcase the importance of small gestures, and is a salute to the commitment and loyalty of those who work to support their communities.
Following the first two ad spots in the series, the award-winning "Basketball" which debuted last fall and a spot launched in February featuring Olympian twin sisters Tracy and Lanny Barnes, Empty Chair kicks off a nationwide effort to recognize those who sacrifice for others, including soldiers, police officers and firefighters, community organizers and volunteers, among others.
Beginning this month, the Guinness brand also will host more than 2,000 events nationwide to support and celebrate these individuals.
"We wanted to create a story that captured a genuine emotion that can be felt by almost anyone," said Guinness Brand Director Doug Campbell. "'Empty Chair' celebrates and honors the commitment and sacrifices made for those we care about."
