HEB TV Spots Reinforce Commitment to Helping Shoppers Save
HEB debuted TV spots during the Super Bowl to reinforce its commitment to helping Texas families save money. The series of 60-second ads, which aired regionally in Texas during the game, highlighted HEB’s cost-savings campaign message of “No Store Does More for Less.”
“We know our customers are looking at every opportunity to stretch their dollars and save,’ said Cory Basso, HEB group VP of marketing and advertising. “We’re committed to helping them do just that, while offering the freshness and quality that we have built our reputation on for more than 100 years.”
One ad spot features Scott McClelland, president of HEB Houston, who stresses that unlike at other retailers, HEB customers don’t need a special discount card to save. The ad then highlights photos of real HEB customers who have chosen the grocer as their No. 1 shop-and-save destination.
The other ad features children secretly planning a day of activities, which will see them using up paper towels, shampoo, laundry detergent, diapers, and other products, all in the spirit of adventure. The ad underscores the value associated with families stocking up on key items at HEB, and reminds viewers about the company’s recent lowering of prices on more than 5,000 products that customers use frequently.
Both ads are now in regular rotation and will be shown over the next few months.
San Antonio-based HEB operates more than 315 stores in Texas and Mexico.
