Hoboken, N.J., ShopRite Highlights Breakfast

To mark back-to-school season, ShopRite of Hoboken, an Inserra Supermarkets store, presented Breakfast Matters, an in-store demonstration hosted by retail dietitian Jenna Stock, to highlight the link between the first meal of the day and such healthful benefits as weight control and improved performance.

During the Aug. 25 demo, fast and healthy selections were discussed, and free samples provided.

ShopRite of Hoboken's retail dietitian program provides free assistance with shopping or meal planning, in addition to small-group and one-on-one counseling. Additionally, monthly events, including adult and children’s cooking classes, educational seminars, food tastings, and food allergy support groups, take place on a continuing basis.

Inserra is a member of the Keasbey, N.J.-based Wakefern Food Corp. cooperative of grocery retailers operating grocery stores under the ShopRite banner in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
