Instacart Arrives in Ft. Lauderdale
Online grocery service Instacart has expanded into Fort Lauderdale, its second market in Florida. Fort Lauderdale residents can now order from such retailers as Whole Foods Market and Publix, with groceries delivered to their homes in as little as one hour.
“Following our recent Miami work, customer demand to bring Instacart to Fort Lauderdale has been high,” said Nick Friedrich, general manager at the San Francisco-based company. “Our streamlined shopping and delivery experience gives customers access to the freshest and highest-quality products within an hour of ordering.”
"Whole Foods Market prides ourselves in delivering a high level of quality to our customers," added Jeff Jenkins, global executive coordinator of digital strategy at Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods Market. "Deepening of our partnership with Instacart ensures that we will continue to maintain our exemplary service while providing a creative solution to a wider customer base outside of our physical location in Fort Lauderdale.”
The service is initially available in 11 Fort Lauderdale ZIP codes: 33301, 33304, 33305, 33306, 33308, 33309, 33311, 33312, 33315, 33316 and 33334.
