Jack Daniel’s Turns Up the Grill
For those in search of a pulled pork sandwich with a little extra kick, Lynchburg, Tenn.-based Jack Daniel’s has launched a new line of refrigerated meat entrees. The iconic spirits producer’s licensing unit has teamed with Montebello, Calif.-based food manufacturer Completely Fresh Foods to offer roasted beef brisket, baby back ribs, pork loin, barbecue pulled pork and pulled chicken, all made with Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey. These entrées expand the grilling sauces, mustards and marinades the brand currently offers at grocery stores. The suggested retail price ranges from $6.49 to $8.49 per 16-ounce cardboard-covered microwavable tray. Promotions and advertising will include coupons, in-store demonstrations and promotional advertising, with combination packages of whiskey and the meats available at select grocers in November.
