KidFresh Offering Cooking Classes for Children

NEW YORK --Unique retail concept KidFresh here, which offers child-oriented food products, is currently enrolling participants for its cooking classes aimed at children from 3 to 10 years old.

Taught by KidFresh "director of kids' programs" Cricket Azima and incorporating age-appropriate information on nutrition, math, science, art, and more, the classes show aspiring junior gourmets how to prepare such healthy recipes as Fruit Burritos, Bread Salad, and Strawberry Salsa.

While older kids learn about foods and cultures by making dishes from around the world, younger children get a chance to hone their counting, color-identification, and motor skills.

The winter class schedule, which runs from Feb. 5 through March 31, consists of eight classes. The cost of enrollment is $300, including an apron.
