Kozy Shack’s Online Contest Aids Women’s Health

Not only is Kozy Shack asking consumers to vote online for a winner in its “Switch To Kozy Shack” photo contest, but for each vote cast at www.switchtokozyshack.com, the manufacturer will donate 10 cents, up to $10,000, to WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease.

Nearly 100 consumers took part in the contest by clearing their refrigerators of junk food in favor of fresh, nutritious snacks such as the Hicksville, N.Y.-based company’s ready-to-eat desserts, and then submitting a photo, for a shot at winning $1 million. The entries have been posted online in the site’s gallery so that the public can vote for a winner.

Consumers can vote once daily through Sept. 15, with the photo that earns the most votes to be named the winner.

Washington-based WomenHeart is the only national organization dedicated to advancing women’s heart health through advocacy, community education and patient support.
