Kraft's LiveActive Brand Adds Granola Bars to Lineup
LiveActive, the Kraft Foods brand that promotes digestive health, is introducing Chewy Granola Bars to its product lineup, which also includes cottage cheese, natural cheese snacks, cereal, and soft drink mixes.
What makes LiveActive Chewy Granola Bars unique, according to Northfield, Ill.-based Kraft, is that they're the first nationally available snack bars containing a probiotic culture that don't require refrigeration.
Each bar contains over 1 billion live L.plantarum 299v bacteria, which help to improve digestive health. The bars, which are also a good source of fiber, come in three varieties: Blueberry Almond, Chocolate Raspberry and Peanut Butter.
A 6.15-ounce box of five 1.23-ounce bars retails for $3.59. The product began shipping June 9.
