Kroger Launches Produce Consumer Web Site
CINCINNATI -- Kroger here has launched a new Web site that invites shoppers to access a variety of information on all the produce that it offers.
Dubbed MakeTheMost.com, and with the tag, "make the Most of Your Produce," the Web site offers recipe suggestions, nutrition information, preparation tips, video demonstrations and storage guidelines.
On the Web site -- which can be accessed from Kroger's main homepage as well as directly - Kroger said, "We're proud to introduce MakeTheMost.com, dedicated solely to all the freshest produce that you'll find in our stores. Just a brief visit to Make The Most can provide you with all the information you want about our produce, from Apples to Zucchinis. Let our professionals help you enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables to their fullest extent!"
A section flagged "Helpful Tips and Tools," is a source "for simple, innovative ideas for using the healthiest foods," said Kroger. "Watch a video tip on selecting the right avocado or print out proven recipes, just a click away. Check out the event finder to discover all the details on the Produce Experience Events in the stores around your neighborhood. These cooking events take place across the country every weekend, allowing shoppers to try new products and delicious recipes - all while in the store!"
