KSS to Retailers: ‘Get Results or Software is Free’
Price and promotion optimization solution vendor KSS Inc. is putting its money where its mouth is with its “KSS Guarantee – Higher Profits Now!” program, a promotion that assures fuel retailers and wholesalers improved profitability from KSS’ PriceNet and RackPrice fuel price management systems – or their software licenses are free.
Under the program, KSS will work with prospective clients and set customized performance benchmarks. After a set timeframe, if performance and profits fall below those predetermined goals, then the user receives a discount on the license. If the software produces no performance or profit improvement at all, then the license is free.
“We have implemented our fuel pricing solutions in more than 25,000 sites and terminals across 25 countries, totaling more than $180 billion in revenue,” said Bob Stein, president and CEO of KSS. “In addition, we have had 100 percent profitability improvement at all installations and 100 percent customer retention. We’re confident that our PriceNet and RackPrice solutions will help retailers and wholesalers improve fuel pricing performance and gross profits. Therefore, in this uncertain economic environment, we’ll stand behind our products and reduce the risks for potential customers.”
PriceNet is a pricing solution that supports the key tasks and stakeholders involved in retail fuels pricing, from capturing field-based intelligence at the site level to the generation of price proposals, via pricing rules or price optimization, to consistent and timely implementation. High levels of automation and an ‘exception-based’ approach were developed to provide a rapid response to competitors and market conditions and allow pricing analysts to leverage the power of pricing analytics.”
