Lin’s Introduces Online Shopping

Lin’s has introduced its Lin’s to Go online shopping service at its St. George, Utah, Washington Fields location. The service will soon be added to its Sunset Boulevard store as well. Lin’s eventually plans to offer the click-and-collect service at all seven locations in southern Utah.

To use the service, customers create an account on the Lin’s website and select the items they want to purchase. After completing their order, customers select their preferred time to pick up the groceries. The store has designated parking spaces for Lin’s to Go shoppers and the groceries are brought out to the customers after they text the store letting it know they have arrived.

The personal shoppers are trained to shop the way customers themselves shop and text customers when any questions arise, according to Steve Bitter, customer service operations manager for Associated Retail Operations and Lin’s. Customers pay a small fee for the service but still benefit from all in-store ads, sales and promotions.
