A cleaning cloth popular in Europe has made its nationwide retail debut in the United States. The E-Cloth, a chemical-free cleaning system first popularized in Swedish hospitals and then in the United Kingdom, uses microfiber technology to create a chemical-free, just-add-water cleaning cloth. The product, which employs microscopic texturing to remove all manner of dirt, can be reused hundreds of times, eliminating the need for paper towels, according to the U.K.-based manufacturer. E-Cloth has also developed the Kitchen Pack specifically for kitchen cleaning. Prices range from $9.98 for an individual cloth to $17.98 for the pack.
