Market Street Pharmacies Introduce $4 Rx and OTC Meds
Market Street is extending its health and wellness philosophy to Dallas-Fort Worth residents with a program that includes a variety of generic prescriptions and over-the-counter (OTC) medications offered for only four dollars.
Other medications and vitamins prescribed frequently for eye, ear and skin care as well as gastrointestinal, heart, mental and women’s health will also be covered under the four-dollar plan, called “$4 Rx and Over the Counter Medications.”
“We consider our DFW guests to be a part of our Market Street family, and, as such, there’s nothing more important to us than their total health and wellness,” said Tim Purser, business director of pharmacy for Market Street’s parent company United Supermarkets, LLC. “While we’ve offered programs in the past, the ‘$4 Rx and Over the Counter Medications’ initiative is the most comprehensive savings program we have ever offered our pharmacy guests.”
The four-dollar OTC portion of the new plan covers products for allergy, cold, and flu symptoms, and as well as everyday antacids, laxatives, pain relievers, and vitamins.
Market Street operates pharmacies in all six of its DFW-area stores, which are located in Allen, Colleyville, Coppell-Lewisville, Frisco, McKinney, and Plano.
