Marsh to Host Health Clinic in Supermarket
INDIANAPOLIS -- A Marsh supermarket in Fishers, Ind. will host in in-store health clinic in a partnership the family-owned grocery chain and the American Health Network, one of the nation's largest physician groups.
The clinic, which is scheduled to open in October, will serve patients with a new or existing illness, as well as those in need of physicals or wellness checks, said American Health Network, which is based here, as is Marsh.
The in-store clinic will provide care without the need for an appointment, between the hours of 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., seven days a week.
The clinic is equipped with the latest in computerized medical records technology, which will allow the results of clinic visits to be communicated promptly to patients' personal physicians, said the health care provider.
"The partnership of these two Indiana based companies provides medical care in a convenient manner, and allows a more holistic approach to many health conditions," said Ben Park, MD, c.e.o. and president of American Health Network.
