Metro Teams with Quebec's Summer Festival Again
For the 13th straight year, Canadian grocer Metro will be a partner of Quebec's Summer Festival, scheduled for July 3 to July 17.
Exclusive features slated to take place at the festival's Metro gazebo will include a family animation program, entertainment, and sampling of a number of its private label Selection and Irresistibles product lines.
Additionally, during the festival shoppers will be able to take part in a special drawing held at Metro supermarkets in the Quebec area, according to Metro director of marketing Viviane Colpron.
The event is attended over 1 million visitors annually.
Metro operates nearly 600 food stores in Quebec and Ontario under the Metro, Metro Plus, Super C, A&P, Dominion, Loeb and Food Basics banners, as well as over 250 pharmacies under the Brunet, Clini Plus, The Pharmacy and Drug Basics banners. The company has 65,000 employees.
