Nash Finch Hires New Directors to Launch Specialty Retail Operations
(PRNewswire) - Nash Finch Company, a Fortune 500 Minneapolis-based food retailer and distributor, today announced the addition of two new directors to develop and roll-out the company's specialty store concepts, a Hispanic-oriented retail supermarket and Buy N Save, an extreme value retail store. Rafael Hernandez was named Director of Ethnic Retail and Stacey Mack was named Director of Extreme Value Retail.
Hernandez has over twenty years of business experience, including most recently as Director of Marketing for seven years at Fiesta Mart, a Texas-based chain of 40 supermarkets and a leading retailer targeting the Hispanic market. A native of Mexico City, Hernandez has extensive expertise and experience in ethnic demographic segmentation and innovative ethnic marketing strategies. He has a
bachelor of science degree in marketing from LaSalle University in Mexico City and a masters degree in business administration from Ohio State University.
Mack joins Nash Finch with experience at several retailing companies, including Director of Retail Operations for Aldi, Inc., a discount food retailer and one of the world's biggest grocery chains with over 5000 stores worldwide.
Both Hernandez and Mack will report directly to Michael Petersen, President of Retail Operations.
