New Organic Pavilion to Debut at 2007 Americas Food & Beverage Show
MIAMI -- In an effort to stay in synch with global trends, the 10th Americas Food & Beverage Show is introducing its first Organic Pavilion
The new pavilion, and show category, will debut at the 2007 show and conference, to be held Oct. 29 - 31 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. To date, 20 firms representing 11 countries have signed up to exhibit organic food and beverage products at the show, which is presented annually by the World Trade Center Miami. Organizers bill the show as “the largest Americas-focused food and beverage trade event in the hemisphere.”
Show director Jelena Meisel said she made the decision to add a pavilion devoted exclusively to organic products based on the results of a buyer survey. According to Meisel, almost 40 percent of the buyers who attended the 2006 show wanted to see more organic and natural food and beverage products at subsequent shows.
