New Redner's Warehouse Market Opens in Lehigh County
READING, Pa. -- Redner's yesterday opened a 52,000-square-foot Warehouse Market at the Whitehall Square Shopping Center in Whitehall, Pa. The new site marks the Mid-Atlantic Grocer's fourth location in Lehigh County.
The full-service grocery store offers shoppers such features as an in-store bakery; a full-service deli; fresh produce, meat, and seafood departments, and frozen, dairy, HBC/nonfoods, and grocery sections.
Additionally the location provides self-checkout terminals allowing customers to pay by cash, credit, or debit card. Shoppers can even use coupons at the terminals and receive cash back from their transactions. The store employs about 150 people in both full- and part-time positions.
The center's developer is Santa Monica, Calif.-based Centro Watts, which owns and operates over 100 shopping centers in 17 states comprising over 15 million square feet of gross leasable area.
Redner's operates 37 Warehouse Markets and 11 Quick Shoppes throughout eastern Pennsylvania and New York.
