Nieto to Lead Packaged Meats and Deli at ConAgra Foods
OMAHA, Neb. -- Lou Nieto has joined ConAgra Foods as president, packaged meats, and deli. The 50-year-old Nieto, who will based in Naperville, Ill., is a veteran of the packaged foods industry.
Nieto was most recently president and c.e.o. of Federated Group, Inc., a privately held national provider of private brands, products and services to grocers. Prior to that position, he held senior positions at Dean Foods Co., and Mission Foods Co. He also has held positions of increasing responsibility at Kraft Foods, Inc. and The Quaker Oats Company.
ConAgra Foods Inc. is one of North America's largest packaged food companies, serving consumer grocery retailers, as well as restaurants and other foodservice establishments.
