Nominations Open for 2017 Retail Dietitian Outstanding Innovation Awards
Progressive Grocer will honor outstanding retail dietitian outreach efforts during its fifth Retail Dietitians Symposium June 3 – 5, 2017, in Anaheim, Calif.
"Successful shopper outreach is the essential linchpin for programs that promote healthy lifestyles," said PG Editorial Director Joan Driggs. "Retailers can have the best product assortment and topnotch services, but awareness and engagement drive positive results for shoppers and the retail banner."
Progressive Grocer seeks to recognize the most innovative programs RDs have created or executed. A special awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 4, at the Retail Dietitian Symposium. In addition to Progressive Grocer’s Outreach Innovation Awards, Phil Lempert, President and CEO of the Retail Dietitian Business Alliance, will also present the RDBA’s Retail Dietitian of the Year.
Nominations for the 2017 Retail Dietitian Outreach Innovation Awards are now being accepted at www.pgrd-awards.com. A panel of judges made up of retail executives, registered dietitians and Progressive Grocer editors will judge submissions on their ability to increase shopper engagement, build awareness of the retail banner as a partner in wellness, and provide demonstrable services to store customers and associates.
In addition to recognition at the Retail Dietitian Symposium, winners will receive broader recognition through Progressive Grocer coverage.
