NRF to Host Loss Prevention Event in San Diego
WASHINGTON, DC - More than 2,600 retail loss prevention executives are expected to gather at the National Retail Federation's Loss Prevention Conference and Expo in San Diego to hear from peers at companies such as Sears Holding Corporation, Target, Gap, Inc., Abercrombie & Fitch, Starbucks, Beall's, Inc., Walgreen Co., Saks Fifth Avenue, and Limited Brands.
One highlight of the event, to be held at the San Diego Convention Center June 11-13, 2007, will be a hot-topic session featuring detectives from Montgomery County, Md. and the Mesa, Ariz. Police Departments to discuss what law enforcement has done and will continue to do to battle organized crime rings nationwide.
Also on the agenda is Dr. Richard Hollinger's annual presentation of the National Retail Security Survey results. The survey will reveal the latest findings on what retailers lost in 2006 due to shoplifting, employee theft, and fraud.
