PCATS Announces Free Webinar
The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) will hold a free Webinar entitled “Leverage PCATS to Improve Your Bottom Line,” on Friday, June 12, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
Retailers and suppliers can click here to register.
“PCATS provides a forum enabling c-store professionals to personally connect with industry leaders, communicate with knowledgeable peers and collaborate on critical industry issues that result in cost-effective solutions,” said Robert Sleeper, director of technology of The Rutter's Cos., who is serving as the webinar moderator. “The webinar will demonstrate the importance of PCATS and how it is advancing the convenience and petroleum retail channel.”
Turkey Hill Minit Markets VP of IT/petroleum Gabe Olives noted: “PCATS helps members keep abreast of efficient c-store industry technologies, which continue to evolve at a fast pace. PCATS positions companies in a place to succeed because it is a standards-setting body providing more than useful technology solutions.”
This first webinar of the year was organized by the PCATS Implementation Committee, and is part of a 2009 outreach campaign designed to help educate the industry about the benefits of PCATS membership, standards and facts. The alliance will expand on this webinar series throughout the coming months.
“PCATS members are bringing positive changes to the industry by evolving standard interfaces allowing retailers to leverage their systems and eB2B to solve specific business challenges,” said Lisa Stewart, president of Impact 21 Group, LLC. “We want to send a strong message to our fellow industry members, no matter their company size, that PCATS is a viable association where their voice will be heard to drive costs out of petroleum, retail and supplier operations.”
