PG Web Extra: Chill Out for Back to School

Not all lunchbox treats are to be found in center store. Produce is a good example, but what about the refrigerated section? That’s where NuttZo Collagen Bold BiteZ are making their debut this back-to-school season.

“They are basically our NuttZo 7 Nut & Seed butter mixed with grass-fed collagen and cacao nibs and a touch of honey that taste amazing and are low in sugar (5 grams) and high in protein (10 grams),” explains Danielle Dietz-LiVolsi, founder and CEO of NuttZo, a San Diego-based maker of organic nut and seed butters. “Like our 2go packets, these are great for back to school, as they’re portable – you don’t need a spoon or knife to enjoy them. They’re also individually packaged and the ideal size for lunchboxes, which is always important to consider.”

Of her company’s better-for-you offerings, Dietz-LiVolsi notes: “Consumers are becoming more and more aware of the effects sugar, gluten, and highly processed foods have on their children’s mental clarity, stamina, etc. Parents read labels, so it’s important to have the nutrients to back up your on-the-go healthy snack.”
