Price Chopper Names BI/Pricing Dir.

Price Chopper Supermarkets/Golub Corp. has promoted Sean Weiss to the position of director of business intelligence and pricing, reporting directly to VP of Marketing Analytics Glen Bradley.

In his new role, Weiss will handle analytics, business planning, systems integration, budget preparation, consumer insights and new store marketing for the 134-store chain.

Weiss joined Price Chopper in 2002, holding several positions in finance, accounting and marketing. His most recent role was manager of business intelligence.

Based in Schenectady, N.Y., the Golub Corp. owns and operates 134 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Family-owned Golub employs more than 22,000 associates who collectively own 52 percent of the company’s privately held stock.
