PRODUCTS: Hershey Bows its 2010 Easter Collection

This Easter, The Hershey Co. is offering some new varieties of chocolate bunnies along with the iconic manufacturer’s seasonal staples.

With a recent Millward Brown/Lightspeed Research Survey commissioned by Hershey showing that 61 percent of consumers like to savor their chocolate Easter bunny over several days, the company is introducing three varieties of Hershey chocolate bunnies, which join the peanut-butter-filled Reese’s Reester Bunny on store shelves. The brand-new bunny selections are a 5-ounce Hershey’s Solid Milk Chocolate Princess Bunny, Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème Bunnies and Hershey’s Bliss Milk Chocolate Bunnies with a Meltaway Center.

New egg-shaped treats are Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème Eggs, Hershey’s Kisses Brand Milk Chocolates Individual Snack Packs and Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs Snack Size. On the non-chocolate front, consumers planning Easter egg hunts can now buy Egg Hunt Favorites Non-Chocolate Filled Egg Assortment with Jolly Rancher Hard Candy, Twizzlers Pull ‘N Peel Candy, Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans and Jolly Rancher Fruit Chews.

Hershey also offers a dedicated Web site, www.KeepEasterEasy.com, where consumers can access a complete list of Hershey Easter favorites, in addition to unique Easter basket ideas, homemade crafts, games and new Easter recipes.
