PROMOTIONS: Goya Feeds the Family
As a way to help shoppers stretch their budgets a little further, Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, has come up with 12 quick and easy recipes that will feed a family of four for less than $10. The satisfying meals incorporate traditional and authentic Latino flavors. Some, such as Chicken Fricassee with Rice and Garbanzada (Chick Pea and Chorizo Soup) employ the company’s better-for-you alternatives, which include low-sodium tomato sauce, canned beans and the Adobo Light condiment.
Goya is supplementing authentic, everyday favorites such as Chicken with Rice with more contemporary fare like Spaghetti with Ground Beef Goya Style, Steak and Onions, and Healthy and Tasty Four Bean Salad (pictured). Each of the 12 meals is specifically designed to take about 30 minutes to prepare, which not only saves dollars, but also minutes, enabling families more time to bond over dinner.
“We at Goya recognize that our consumers are always looking to get more value without compromising taste,” said Goya SVP Joseph Perez. “With our family of products exceeding well over 1,600, we are capable of providing flavorful recommendations for eating well while on a budget.”
For all 12 recipes, consumers can visit www.goya.com and click on the “Affordable Meals” tab.
Founded in 1936, Secaucus, N.J.-based Goya manufactures packages and distributes high-quality food products from the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central and South America.
