Publix Testing In-store Starbucks Locations

Publix Super Markets has opened Starbucks kiosks in four of its stores in Florida and North Carolina as a test, according to a published report.

“Like Publix, Starbucks is committed to serving the finest products and creating an exceptional customer experience and we believe this collaboration is a perfect fit,” Publix spokesman Dwaine Stevens told the Orlando Sentinel in an email.

The newspaper further reported that Lakeland, Fla.-based Publix has no plans at this time to open more in-store Starbucks kiosks.
