Quick Chek to Open Prototype in Upstate N.Y.
Quick Chek, a privately-owned, family-operated chain of more than 100 retail food store locations throughout New Jersey and southern New York, said yesterday it will hold the grand opening of its newest location and prototype store in the small community of Lake Katrine, N.Y. later this month.
The 7,260-square-foot store will open May 28 following a celebratory Quick Chek Coffee Toast ceremony where local officials and community members will gather with Quick Chek representatives to grind, brew, and pour the very first cup of Quick Chek's popular fresh coffee at the new location.
Quick Chek's new store will include a coffee bar, sub shop, soup bar, bakery items made fresh every day, a no-fee ATM center, 20 fueling stations, and a car wash.
Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based Quick Chek operates more than 100 retail locations in New Jersey and southern New York. Those include 12 pharmacies and 14 units with fuel.
