Raley’s Nominated as Wine Retailer of the Year

Wine Enthusiast Magazine has nominated Raley’s Supermarkets as Wine Retailer of the Year in its annual Wine Star Awards.

The Wine Star Awards recognize individuals and organizations whose visions have impacted the wine and spirits industry, with nominees determined by a panel of impartial experts from the industry.

Recipients will be announced in Wine Enthusiast Magazine’s special Dec. 31 “Best of Year” Wine Star Awards issue.

Raley’s wine department is renowned in California and Nevada, showcasing small, eclectic producers from California and internationally at all price points. Additionally, Raley’s has hired and trained wine stewards in select stores to provide weekly educational tastings and suggested food pairings to help customers find their ideal wines.

Based in West Sacramento, Calif., Raley’s operates 121 stores in Northern California and Nevada under the Raley’s Supermarkets, Bel Air Markets, Nob Hill Foods and Food Source banners.
