Randazzo Fresh Market Deploys Self-ordering Kiosks
Randazzo Fresh Market, a Michigan supermarket chain with locations in Macomb Township, Clinton Township and Warren became the fourth grocery chain in the Detroit Metro area to install self-ordering kiosks and line-management technology.
The grocer is using components of Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based ADUSA’s Omni-Channel Fresh-Foods (OCFF) solution suite.
“The functionality in its systems is far greater than what we had previously and our associates and customers quickly acclimated to it,” said Sonny Randazzo, owner of Randazzo Fresh Market. “What’s more, the queue management module gives me the reassurance that our associates are working efficiently and giving equal attention to counter orders and orders coming from self-ordering devices.”
The OCFF suite includes self-ordering kiosks, order-taking tablets, and queue management systems for all the fresh food items in the supermarket, and will soon also include online and mobile self-ordering, enhanced enterprise order routing, order management, production planning and queue management capabilities, as well as in-store digital menu board and content displays.
